Your facial studies are amazing man. Are you using some kind of a wash?
Hi Gerald :) Thanks ! These were done with a graphite pencil. I use woodless pencils 2B - 4B range and draw a lot with the side.
The pencil sort of sharpens itself and then I go in with the sharpened end over top of the softer stuff to define things.
